October is Architecture Month in the East Bay. One of the main events is their AIA150 program--the Pittsburg Railroad Corridor Charette. Taking place on Saturday, October 27, 2007, at the Elks Lodge in Pittsburg. This charette has been developed by Steve Winkel, FAIA, and many other chapter members, including recent past-Mayor of Pittsburg, chapter member Michael Kee, AIA. It's offered in the true sense of giving back to the community--and we need lots of architects and design professionals involved. Click here for more information on this upcoming event.
