Congregation Beth Sholom Synagogue, San Francisco, CA
Architect: Stanley Saitowitz / Natoma Architects, Inc.
This structure of ancient origins revolves around two key concepts, Conservative Judaism and the Orthodox Jewish tradition. The design for the sanctuary begins from the inside with the creation of a sacred room, a space in the round, which focuses on the center from where the services are conducted.
