Tibby Rothman interviews Chester A. Widom, FAIA, newly appointed California State Architect, about his vision and goals. Chet Widom was a founding partner of WWCOT, an architectural, interior design, planning, and forensics firm with four offices in California and an office in Shanghai, China. A former president of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), as well as of the AIA California Council, and an Honorary Fellow of the professional architecture associations of Canada, Japan, and Mexico, he is recognized as an international leader in the profession.
