It’s the beginning of February which means there could well be mandatory license renewal continuing education units looming heavily upon you.

The AIA California Council and aecKnowledge have made it easy to satisfy your units. Our online courses satisfy the State of California’s CE requirements for all architecture license renewals in 2015. For the 2015 cycle, our online courses encourage architects to view ADA and California’s accessibility requirements in a larger design context.

As Bill Leddy, FAIA, remarks, “Good design is fundamentally a social justice issue. Everyone deserves the right to dignified and inspiring places to live and work.”

These are not your “Add 2″ clearance here and insert a 5-foot radius there” courses. The four courses (5 HSW units total) are engaging, provocative and inspirational:

Designing for All: The Ed Roberts Campus (Presented by Bill Leddy, FAIA)
Architecture Beyond Sight (Presented by Chris Downey, AIA)
Universal Design is Good Design: Part 1 (Narrated by Steve Castellanos, FAIA)
Universal Design is Good Design: Part 2 (Narrated by Steve Castellanos, FAIA)

The AIACC represents the interests of more than 11,000 architects and allied professionals in California. Founded in 1944, The AIACC's mission supports architects in their endeavors to improve the quality of life for all Californians by creating more livable communities, sustainable designs and quality work environments.
