Interviews are now beginning for the Executive Vice President position at The American Institute of Architects California Council (AIACC). The EVP Transition Task Force met last week in Los Angeles and reviewed applications from the national search from June 1 through July 31. From that pool, they selected a number of highly experienced and qualified candidates to interview.
“The Task Force is very pleased with the high quality of applicants,” said Jana Itzen, AIACC president. “The candidates include a diverse pool of professionals representing a wide variety of exceptional experience and qualifications. We are looking forward to learning more about the unique skillset each candidate possesses and their vision for the position and the organization.”
The Task Force, appointed by Itzen in coordination with the Executive Committee, will conduct preliminary video interviews beginning at the end of this week, followed by in-person interviews in September and October. They will make a recommendation to the Executive Committee in October, whose decision will be ratified by the Board of Directors at their meeting on November 3.
