AIA 2018 Young Architects Awards

This week, the AIA National office announced the recipients of the 2018 Young Architects Awards. Emerging talent deserves recognition. AIA has selected 18 recipients for the 2018 AIA Young Architects Award. Young architects are defined as professionals who have been licensed 10 years or fewer regardless of their age. This award, now in its 25th year, honors individuals who have shown exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the profession early in their careers.

Among the list were a few California names:

Allison Albericci, AIA, San Francisco

Tony Garcia, AIA, San Diego

Satoshi Teshima, Los Angeles

Congratulations to all, and if you know or work with the names above, be sure to give them a shout out!



The AIACC represents the interests of more than 11,000 architects and allied professionals in California. Founded in 1944, The AIACC's mission supports architects in their endeavors to improve the quality of life for all Californians by creating more livable communities, sustainable designs and quality work environments.
