Paul Welschmeyer, AIA is Principal of Paul Welschmeyer Architects, an award-winning Bay Area firm located in the Historic Niles District, Fremont, California. His firm specializes in residential, commercial, and historic preservation projects, all of which incorporate energy efficient design and green building strategies. The firm provides energy consulting for residential structures, combining energy efficiency and architectural design into a service called Energy and Architecture Master Planning, which optimizes the design through iterative performance modeling. Paul serves as the AIACC’s State Agency Liaison Committee (SALC) Architect Member Liaison to the California Energy Commission.
